On the afternoon of June 18, 2011, Round-Table Meeting for Presidium and Specially-Invited Guests of the 4th WEC was held in Qingdao, and two topics had been set in the meeting: Global Sustainable Development and China's Economic Growth Roadmap, Road Ahead for the International Corporations in China. 30 persons, including ministry-level officials, leaders of international organizations, presidents of global top 500 enterprises, attended the meeting and held talks.
Attendees pointed out: China's transition and development not only made contribution to global sustainable development, but also brought new-round market opportunity. Multinationals wound obtain larger development space during this key period when China started to make economic transition and the 12th five-year plan was issued. At the same time, more attention shall be paid to the establishment of China’s emerging economies and development of emerging strategic industry.
